It’s gonna be ok
We are in a deep economic hole. And we still going down. Nobody knows for how long.
Most of the people only looks at the next step. At the very present. And they feel depressed (if the situation is bad).
Yes, we live bad times. However, sun will shine again on the economy. So it’s gonna be OK. And after that it will be again depression. And OK again. And so on. Good-bad, day-night, optimism-pessimism are cyclical. 
Understand this and you will not be so influenced by external factors
