Today I’ve learned an important business lesson. Whatever you sell, it should be standardised and scalable.

Never sell yourself. You are a limited number of hours/days to live.

Never sell interpretable things. Be like Ford. Only sell what you can replicat with zero marginal costs.  This way you can have a lot of money and financial freedom.

If you start selling personalized item, it’s like you are selling your time. Not very wise. Unless you are selling with incredible high margins.

I recently read a study on how to use Google to make money. Even I am quite savvy on this subject, this is new for me.

There are 3 types of terms searched on Google:

1. generic terms. I want to know more about the subject, to write an paper for school, to look for more information.

2. comparison. These guys have money, they intend to buy the product but mostly offline. They use google to check the variants, read the reviews. After they make up their mind, they go either in offline and buy it, either they move to step 3: online buying.

3. buying. These guys knows exactly what they are looking for. They are able to pay online. They look for standardise merchandise, with lowest risk, and they look for the smallest price in the market (or other very powerfull advantage - remember, in online it’s easy to compare offers)

Also, that study shows that people looking for generic stuff usually search 1 keyword, those who want to buy search 4 words in a keyword.

So, knowing the above facts, you should target the last category in order to use google to make money. Targeting 4 words keywords could mean lower CPC, longtail ones. So per total, you will get lower costs and higher revenues.

I’m sorry i don’t remember the name of the study, to give proper credits to the author… They were an US university or something….

Do you have a goal in your financial life? Do you want to reach somewhere? Do you want a SIX figure income? Do you want financial freedom?

Then think for yourself.

1. You cannot become an employee. Because even if you earn six figure salary, overall you are trading your time for money. If you stop working, you stop earning money. Your six figure income is going to the drain.

2. You should reach this financial freedom only if you are earning those money through other means, independent of your time. Would it be nice to earn a six figure income even when you are sleeping? Or you are going into vacation? This would be nice, correct?

3. A six figure income could come from the following directions:

- make a site, get some traffic, sale things on it (monetize it somehow). Replicate this 100 times

- create a flow of money. Or better, insert yourself in an existing flow of money. That means see there money flows, go there, open a new business selling standardized products and promote yourself. You will get some of the existing flows of incomes, and hopefully reach a six figure income

- invest in something: create a franchise, invest in real estate, create a patent. This way you will get money when you sleep and you will put your money to work, not your time.

You need to have a big objective, that will focus your activity towards it. A six figure income could be such objective. Also, you need to set daily, monthly objectives, that will work towards the big objective. Try to be smart earning that big income :)

Keep looking for answers on how to make money? Here is a simple answer. Use “large numbers theory”.

Basically, you have a conversion rate between the actions you are doing with the outputs you are getting. Let’s say you need to contact 100 potential clients to sign one contract. That means 1% success rate. How you can make money? Increase DRAMATICALLY the number of contacted clients. From 100 to 1000. This way you will get 10 contracts. That means 1000% increase in incomes. Sounds nice, right? And i bet the costs for contacting 10 times more people are less the factor 10.

That’s the big secret on how to make money :). Contact mooooore people and increase the chances. Be a spammer type. Do you think spammer have problems with the 99,99% that say no? No way, spammers are using large number theory in order to get several hundreds contracts from zillions of contacted persons.

So, instead of winning, turbo yourself :) And make more money :)

Correct. If you want to evolve faster, much faster then normal, you should create with your friends a working group. This way, you will share, learn, test, innovate deploy much faster any idea related to your line of work then by working alone. Making money is much easier if you consider a networking effect, where you can benefit from other people with same interest. And instead looking at them as competitors, use them as partners, to move up faster.

Do you want to make money? Do you have a business idea, that sounds ok? You have a great resource in all the people you know.

You can get from them:

1. feedback. Always ask for feedback from your friends, because you need a 3rd party opinion. Usually people are to in love of their ideas and do not keep the eyes on the ball anymore.

2. endorsement. Probably your acquaintances have a name and a company behind them. Ask them to give you a testimonial (of your character or of your product). Ask for a recommendations. Make a movie with them asking them to testify that you/your idea (to make money) is cool.

3. money (as financing). Well, in order to make money you need to invest money (usually). You can have that money or you can borrow them. Friends can help you, if you are a trustworthy person

4. money (as clients). If you will offer something that can be useful to them, then you can have the first clients from your friends. :) Anyway they will have to pay for that service/product, why not to buy from you?

5. recommendations for their friends as well. Ask them if they have any potential clients for you. Ask them to give you an entry… This will help you sell through people that know people that know people

6. use other resources from them. Every people has access to some free/cheap resources. Is a petty to to use them. If a friend of yours has a server, ask him to host your site. If other have programming skills, ask him to help you for free with the programming, and so on.

The idea is that every person you know, if you kindly ask her, can help you somehow. If they won’t help you, then you know to disregard it in the future. :) You must ask something from every person you know, so you can make more money. After all, it’s in their advantage as well so you can grow up financially.

There are a lot of opportunities to make money. The correct question is: what are the BEST opportunities to make real money.

Because you can be a rocket scientist and u can make money even washing dishes in Chinese restaurants. You will make money even so, but the idea is to make money smart. And trying to leverage your resources and knowledge to maximize your earnings.

So, try to keep the eyes on the ball and choose from millions of money making opportunities the correct one.

I saw a great site presenting hundreds of make money opportunities here. Indeed, I could make financial calculations, babysit parrots and driving bankers to rodeo drives, but is not the best use of my powers. Always consider this when you are looking for make money opportunities :)

You know what is the best advice that you will ever get regarding how to make money?

STOP WORKING!!!!!

Because working kills your brain. It makes u dumb. If you work for others from 9-5 (or in this crisis from 9-9), you will get tired too soon to be able to think for yourself. So you will hit the bed too soon and next day the cycle continues.

So, if you want to make money, U need to force yourself to have quality time to THINK. Because thinking will get you money, not working like a slave for your owner. :)
