Well it seems that google finance situation is not exactly how I predicted several times until now. It seems that overall they had a small 3% decrease in revenues Q12009 vs Q4 2008. But the number of paid clicks are up, which is exactly what i said

I anticipated that business people, forced by the crise, they will become more efficient. Efficiency means CPC. That should mean more money for google from cpc.

It will be interesting to watch the evolution further. And to move forward, according my predictions

How to increase your traffic using 3 way link exchange?

During first Google years, 2 way link exchange was a sure way to increase traffic and more important, seo ranking. But now Google it seems to penalize 2 way link exchange, excepting blogrolls link exchange.

Now, it’s working the following financial/traffic arrangements:

- i have 2 websites. A and B

- you have only one site – C (ore hopefully more).

I make a link from site A to site C. In exchange, you (C) make a link towards B. So, this is 3 way link exchange. If you are interested, by the way, I have some financial sites and some medical sites. Contact me if you are interested in a 3 way link exchange.

I recently read a study on how to use Google to make money. Even I am quite savvy on this subject, this is new for me.

There are 3 types of terms searched on Google:

1. generic terms. I want to know more about the subject, to write an paper for school, to look for more information.

2. comparison. These guys have money, they intend to buy the product but mostly offline. They use google to check the variants, read the reviews. After they make up their mind, they go either in offline and buy it, either they move to step 3: online buying.

3. buying. These guys knows exactly what they are looking for. They are able to pay online. They look for standardise merchandise, with lowest risk, and they look for the smallest price in the market (or other very powerfull advantage – remember, in online it’s easy to compare offers)

Also, that study shows that people looking for generic stuff usually search 1 keyword, those who want to buy search 4 words in a keyword.

So, knowing the above facts, you should target the last category in order to use google to make money. Targeting 4 words keywords could mean lower CPC, longtail ones. So per total, you will get lower costs and higher revenues.

I’m sorry i don’t remember the name of the study, to give proper credits to the author… They were an US university or something….

Let’s say your website is getting you 1000 usd from adsense. And these earnings are constant from the past year. And you don’t have any marketing/time invested in it. It just keep sending you money.

The PER (price earning ratio) would be 5.

That means you could sell a website for the money you would get from it in the next 5 years.

So, the selling value of a website would be: 1000 usd x 12 months/year x 5 years = 60,000 usd, money you could get now.

Of course, selling value of a website depends on other various factores. The recession, for example. Right now, there are companies in the market with PER 2, or PER 1. That means that if you buy the stocks, you should have 100% profit in the first year.

Affiliates programs are making top dollars with these crazy times. People all over the world are looking towards internet to make some money. Internet seems to be the winner of the crisis. More desperate people, more money on the web.

Selling other people’s stuff is a great way to make some money. Because you don’t have any problems with colateral issues: logistic, marketing, payments, people, HQ, etc.

You just focus on one thing: getting relevant traffic and monetize it, by selling them other people stuff. Actually, you did not even have to sell. You just convince them and send the potential clients towards the client. Sweet. Good luck you all

If you feel depressed on the economic situation, try to set up some clear objectives and start achieving them. Also, the big yearly objectives try to split them in monthly/weekly and daily objectives. This way you will be able to keep much more under control what’s happening

Making small steps really helps to achieve the big objective. If you look only the big thing, maybe you will miss it. But small steps and celebrate little succeses, it will be great

Personally I think that we are far from the bottom of the crisis.
Companies are still have lot’s of toxic assets.
The laying off did not reach an impressive level yet.
The auto markets still have big problems
People all over the world realized that they can live with less. This economy, combined with the green attitude, will make consumption look more skinny.

How is your job satisfaction? Are you happy or not? When somebody is asking you what are have you done in the past x months since u seen each other, what are you telling them?

Job satisfaction is related to life satisfaction. if you want to have a great life, try to be satirsfied at job, otherwise you will feel miserable. Also, my suggestion is not to have job satisfaction, but work satisfaction. Francly, a job means you are selling your time for money. Whish is wrong. You should find ways to make money not dependent with the invested time. You should make money all the time, investing. Then you will have investment satisfaction, with is better then work satisfaction and far better then job satisfaction

G20 just discussed that offshore tax heavens must dissapear, because there are too much money, as taxes, that are not being paid to governments. So they decided to kill offshore.

This is a petty because its a step to further globalisation. It will be very difficult for companies to be free of heavy taxing. Offshore was the last hope. Now it will not be the case. Offshore will be gone, the global government will come soon.

- battery life: 6 hours
